What I find frightening is that it’s an issue….for anyone. Show me a “put together” second grader and I’ll show you a spoiled child and tragically-superficial parents.

Awkward high school photos and beyond? Maybe. You’re putting your outfits together on your own, with a degree of undersanding about self-image, by that age. But I don’t want to know a seven-year-old who’s fashion savvy. ;-)
